On-site blast prep for heavy equipment and process machinery — rust removal and surface prep for repainting.
Heavy industrial equipment — excavators, cranes, loaders, process machinery, and specialty equipment — accumulates rust and coating failure over years of outdoor storage and heavy use. Grinding and hand tool preparation don't get you to a clean metal surface that will actually hold a coating. Blasting does — and we bring the equipment to you.
Blasting Jack mobilizes to job sites, equipment yards, and manufacturing facilities to blast industrial equipment in-place. We work around the equipment's size and geometry — boom assemblies, undercarriages, complex machine frames, and process equipment housings all get the same treatment. Full rust and coating removal down to bare metal, ready for whatever protective system goes on next.
For process equipment and machinery where abrasive residue is a concern, dry ice blasting is available. It cleans without leaving secondary waste — no abrasive to contain or recover. For large equipment with significant rust accumulation, abrasive blasting is typically the most practical and economical method.
Boom assemblies, sticks, buckets, undercarriages, and machine bodies on large excavators accumulate rust from soil and moisture exposure. Blasting strips everything to bare metal ahead of repainting.
Crane boom sections, lattice structures, counterweight assemblies, and carbody frames corrode with outdoor storage. We blast crane components in the yard or disassembled in sections.
Lift arm assemblies, blade frames, ROPS cabs, and machine bodies on loaders and dozers corrode and fade. Blasting restores the surface for a repaint that matches original finish quality.
Manufacturing and process machinery — press frames, conveyors, mixing equipment, custom machine structures — accumulate rust and coating failure in plant environments. We blast in-place during maintenance windows.
Custom-built industrial equipment, one-off fabrications, and specialty machinery require the same surface prep as production equipment. We assess the piece and deliver the appropriate blast profile.
Older industrial equipment being restored to service requires complete rust and coating removal before any refurbishment work begins. Blasting is the foundation of a proper restoration — everything else builds on it.
Yes. We mobilize to your location and blast equipment where it sits — in the yard, at a job site, or inside a facility. We bring all necessary equipment and handle abrasive containment on-site.
Large equipment takes more time per unit due to surface area, but the process is the same. We scale our setup to match the piece. Complex geometry — lattice booms, undercarriage components, tight clearances — we work through methodically to ensure complete coverage.
We provide blast surface preparation only. Coating application is handled by your paint crew or coating contractor. We deliver bare metal with the specified anchor profile ready for primer application.
Abrasive blasting is the right method for heavy rust removal and when an anchor profile is needed for coating adhesion. Dry ice blasting is appropriate for cleaning sensitive components, electrical enclosures, and areas where no abrasive residue can be left behind. We can advise on the right method for your specific equipment.
